Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to order Equifax reports:
Step 1 — How It Works
Where to order from:
- Contacts — order directly from a contact record.
- Deal > Applicants > Equifax Report — request reports for one or more applicants in a deal.
- Deal Sync Button — use the sync option at the top of the deal to order reports.
- Automatic linking: When a contact is linked to a deal, existing Equifax reports appear under Applicants > Equifax Reports. A warning displays if a previous report already exists.
- Multi-applicant support: Users can order reports for multiple contacts simultaneously if all contacts are added to a deal.
- Equifax matching: If no match is returned, contact Equifax directly. Reports are stored in the contact record and in the Applicants section.
Step 2 — Order a Report
- Click Order Equifax Report from one of the 3 options listed above.
- Click the dropdown to select the applicants you would like to order reports for.
- Select your preferred report option.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions stating you have received written authorisation.
- Click Continue.
Step 3 — Confirm Details and Submit
Confirm the details of the applicants and make any adjustments or additions. The more information you provide the more accurate your report will be.
Click Next and then Order Reports. You'll receive confirmation that the reports have been successfully ordered.
Step 4 — Find Your Reports
- Within the deal under Applicants > Equifax Reports tab.
- Directly saved against the contact record: Contacts > Edit > Credit Check.
- Also available from the Activity Feed on your DealDash.
Step 5 — Billing
- Reports are billed to the Suite360 account the contact owner is integrated with.
- Users must use their own Suite360 login to ensure correct billing.
- If accounts are shared (not recommended), the account holder's Suite 360 will be billed.
- For billing support, contact fees@afgonline.com.au.
- Existing Flex users will continue to be billed the same way as before.
Step 6 — Known Limitations
- Company credit reports are not supported. See: Ordering a Credit Report for a Company.
