When FLEX is integrated with BrokerEngine, you can send your Fact Find request to your clients via FinanceVault then sync the completed fact find directly to FLEX. This cuts data entry time and ensures your records are accurate across platforms.

Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to sync a Fact Find to FLEX:
Step 1 — What Happens in FLEX After the Sync
When you sync a Fact Find to FLEX, BrokerEngine creates new opportunity and contact records in FLEX.
Step 2 — Disconnecting a Previously Synced Deal
If the Fact Find belongs to a deal already pushed to FLEX, the sync option will not be available because the deal is already connected to a FLEX opportunity. To sync the Fact Find, disconnect the FLEX deal and then action the sync again.
Step 3 — Sync the Fact Find Data to FLEX
When you're happy with the Fact Find, sync it to FLEX.
1. Click the Fact Find link within the FinanceVault widget within the lead or deal card. The fact find page loads.
2. Within the Fact Find, click the FLEX icon.
3. Click Sync.
4. BrokerEngine displays a pop-up with the sync results and notes about fields you should check and fix manually within FLEX.

Step 4 — Changing Data in FLEX After a Sync
BrokerEngine and FLEX have different data structures. Most data can be transferred to similar fields. However, some complex data relationships won't always transfer correctly.
Duplicate contacts
BrokerEngine creates a new contact record when it pushes a Fact Find to FLEX. If the contact already exists, you have a duplicate record. This is easy to fix: merge the duplicate contact records in FLEX.
Security Properties
Update manually.

Liabilities
Connect Home Loans to the Real Estate asset. Manually enter the Refinance Reason and Exit Cost.

Rental Income
Link to the corresponding Real Estate asset.
