Save Time By Sending an Older Fact Find
Occasionally, it might be necessary to send a fact find document that was previously sent to a client. Perhaps some time has elapsed since the initial fact find was completed (or partially completed), and material changes need to be recorded (e.g. the number of dependents increased, a change in income, etc.). Or, the client is submitting a fact find for a new application. The re-use tool allows you to re-send an old form. This saves the client time by allowing them to update only the information that has changed since their previous submission.

Sending the fact find
- Select a client and open the client portal.
- Make sure the DOCUMENT REQUEST pane is clear.
- Click the ADD NEW DOC button. A popup window displays.
In the popup, enter a unique name and add a brief description to help the client understand what to do. Click the Request Type field and select Fact Find. A new window displays.
Use the search bar to locate the previous form that you want to send again.
- Click Preview to inspect the form. (optional)
- Click Re-Use FactFind to attach the template to the email message.
Finally, confirm the name of the Primary Applicant and optionally add a party. Click Add Document. Click the Review Request button and send the file.
If you can't find a previous fact find that you know exists, check the name order. Sometimes the names of the primary applicant and co-applicant are reversed. The solution is to amend the current application and change the Co-Applicant to Primary and Primary to Co-Applicant
Opening the file
You can open the file and review the pre-filled information. Open lead or deal page. Go to the Client Portal field and click the fact file link. The form displays in a popup window.
