Prerequisites
- Create a Zapier account
- Install the BrokerEngine Zapier app
- Copy your API key from the Integrations page — Zapier will prompt you for this when building a Zap
Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to integrate Zapier with BrokerEngine:
Step 1 — About Zaps
A Zap links a trigger in one product (the cause) with an action in another product (the effect). Whenever a trigger event occurs, Zapier automatically completes the action for you.
You can use any of these triggers and actions to connect with other products using Zapier. Find out more on this Zapier page.
Step 2 — Supported Triggers
- New Contact Created — Triggers when a new contact is created.
- Contact Updated — Triggers when a contact is updated.
- Contact Tagged — Triggers when a contact is tagged.
- Contact Untagged — Triggers when a tag is removed from a contact.
- New Card on Board — Triggers when a new card is created on any board.
- Card Date Changed — Triggers when a card date field is updated.
- Stage Changed — Triggers when a lead or deal is moved to a new stage.
- FinanceVault Document Request Done — Triggers when a FinanceVault document request is created.
- New Task Created — Triggers when a new task is created for a loan or a contact.
- New Lead Created — Triggers when a new lead is created (being replaced with New Card on Board).
- New Deal Created — Triggers when a new deal is created (being replaced with New Card on Board).
Step 3 — Supported Action
- New Card — Create a new card inside BrokerEngine.
To access all of these triggers, make sure you're using version 2.3.0 or higher (excluding 2.3.1 as this version is not a public connection).
